Diesel Fuel Treatment and Stabilizers

Your fuel is our business – and we take it seriously. How you store and utilize your fuel impacts how it gets treated. For businesses storing fuel over 6 months, we use product specifically designed for long term diesel storage – such as in Emergency Generators.

The Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems notes that biodiesel can accelerate the degradation of the diesel fuel if stored for longer than 6 months. Biodiesel blends up to B5 (ASTM D 975) have much shorter shelf lives than conventional ULSD and can accelerate degradation processes, endangering the entire diesel fuel supply. Fuel suppliers are required to disclose biodiesel delivery greater than B4.

Our products are designed to clean the fuel, storage tanks and injection systems with today’s low sulphur diesel fuel and bio diesel blends in mind. It increases fuel stability; reduces polymerization and chaining of wax and glyceride molecules. It also reduces and maintains low exhaust emissions, soot and particles during idle and acceleration. It can also provide an immediate boost in engine performance by increasing cetane and lubricity, helping to eliminate pre-detonation. Output is also improved. Regular use cleans and conditions rotary & piston fuel pumps, injectors, piston rings and seals, dissolves gum and varnish deposits and disposes of water contamination in fuel.
